Overview 

Minimal livecd, easy customizeable using yum. Contains all necessary tools to create custom livecds from this template by simply installing additional software. Please see the 'customization' docu.

Features 

  • ~89 Mb zisofs compressed image
  • ~120 Mb used of 350Mb (uncompressed) livecd image
  • console only, with bash, kudzu, vi, yum, apt, openldap,basic network + ssh/ftp server, mkisofs/zisofs, cdrecord etc. Full packagelist here
  • standard fedora kernel 2.6.8
  • livecd rpm scripts
  • customize with yum :)

Requirements 

  • minimum: 200Mhz/128 Mb Ram , recommended: 500Mhz/256Mb Ram, good: 1Ghz/256+Mb Ram.
  • Either a running linux system or a linux4all barebone oder a linux4all basilisk livecd to be used as build host.
  • CD-Writer

  • for yum: internet connection or a local mountable repository (hardisk/network/…)
