Help

The TTF files in the RPM file list are zero length placeholders and the original archive webfonts.exe (a self-extracting zip archive) is included unmodified and unzipped by the post-install script.

+ /usr/bin/unzip -L -o /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/webfonts/webfonts.exe -d /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/webfonts
+ /usr/sbin/chkfontpath -q -a /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/webfonts

The file fonts.dir.pseudoadobe maps the fonts Arial, Courier New and Times New Roman to Adobe Helvetica, Courier and Times, respectively. By replacing fonts.dir with fonts.dir.pseudoadobe applications can use the high quality scalable TrueType fonts without modification to the application settings.
