Always use 'and' to separate authors in BibTeX entry.

Although shown in bibliography as

Jiawei Han, Yandong Cai and Nick Cercone

you have to put it as

Jiawei Han and Yandong Cai and Nick Cercone

as the authors in BibTeX entry.
