Debian upgrade from slint to potato

There are instructions on debian's website on doing this. But, way to do it basically is to edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file as root and change reference to stable to frozen. Then run "apt-get update" to update the list of packages in the frozen tree. Then do "apt-get dist upgrade". You should probably subscribe to the debian user's mailing list and read up on any issues doing this (if some actually exist). I do my debian installs using the latest boot diskette and driver images and go from there.
