One possibility is:

if [ "$( tty )" = "/dev/tty1" ]
then
    ...

What exactly do you mean by "console log on"?

Thanks, Dale

This is meant for my poweroff account. I want it only to be feasible when I'm at my computer, banning any possible remote hack (I know or I don't know) from powering down my computer.

Your suggestion really turn the light ball on for me. Thanks. Never imagined that things could be this easy when in *nix. :-)
